Light Planning

Light Planning

A Light Plan is the blueprint for your cultivation lighting system. It defines fixture placement, intensity, spectrum, and uniformity to ensure every plant receives the light it needs for maximum yield and quality.

We combine agronomic expertise with advanced simulations, factoring in crop type, growth stage, greenhouse location, seasonal sunlight, and shading patterns.

Light planning

Delivering a detailed technical package with 3D simulations, PPFD maps, and installation recommendations ensuring your investment delivers optimal results from day one.

A Light Plan is a detailed technical design that determines how artificial lighting should be distributed within your cultivation area...

Correct light distribution is critical for plant health and yield...

The standard Light Plan service covers only the design and technical recommendations...

Typically, a Light Plan is delivered within 3–7 business days...

For simple projects, the Light Plan is provided free of charge as part of the quotation process...

1

Data Collection

We collect geometry and mounting constraints, crop targets (PPFD/DLI/photoperiod), site factors (latitude, glazing, shading), and electrical/control limits (voltage, circuiting, 0–10 V/DALI/PWM, PAR 4–20 mA), defining uniformity and dimming-zone criteria.

2

Design & Simulation

We build a 3D model with verified photometric files to optimize fixture count, spacing and height, compute PPFD/ePAR maps and uniformity, check voltage drop and energy (kWh/day, kWh/mol), and define zoning, dimming ranges and UV/FR if required.

3

Plan Delivery

We provide a complete technical package: 3D layout, PPFD heatmaps and iso-lines, uniformity tables, monthly DLI projections for your photoperiod, and a bill of materials (models, spectra, optics, quantities, mounts, rails). Electrical deliverables include circuiting and one-line diagram suggestions, control zoning (0–10 V/DALI/PWM), sensor placement for PAR-based automation, and commissioning.
